Our Story
818 Films Photography started with Elias and his love for photography. He had already been photographing clients and building his craft when, after some time away, Jazmin encouraged him to pick the camera back up and really go for it.
That little push turned into something they now get to build together. Three years in, they’ve fallen in love with more than just taking photos—they love meeting new people, creating genuine connections, finding those in-between moments, and, of course, getting THE shot.
What started as Elias’ passion has grown into something they both genuinely love, and they’re excited to keep creating, connecting, and capturing memories along the way.
To us, 818 Films is more than a name or a business. It’s something we’ve built together from a passion, it’s the people we meet, the connections we make, the stories we get to be a small part of, and the excitement of chasing that perfect shot. It’s creating something that feels like you and giving people photos they’ll look back on years from now and still feel something.

Elias is the founder and head photographer of 818 Films, turning his love for photography into something that has grown into so much more. When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll probably find him enjoying anime, gaming, streaming, or most importantly, being a dad. He’s hilarious and has a special gift for getting just about anyone to chuckle, which is a big part of what makes being in front of his camera feel so easy and natural. He’s all about good times, good people, and genuine connections—and that energy is something he brings into every shoot. For Elias, photography is about more than getting the shot; it’s about capturing the moments, personalities, and memories that make people who they are.
Jazmin is the second shooter and behind-the-scenes heart of 818 Films, helping bring the creative vision to life both in front of and behind the camera. When she’s not shooting, she’s usually working on social media, marketing, the website, planning, or all the little things that go into running a business. Outside of 818 Films, she loves being a mom, is a true beach girl at heart, and has a passion for crafting. She’s the kind of person who can look at almost anything and immediately think, *“I can make that.”* She brings creativity, heart, and a hands-on spirit to everything she does, always finding another way to make an idea come to life.

2.Call or face time
We will schedule a 10 minute meeting via Phone call or FaceTime to go over the important details & get your session or event on our books!
3.Picture time
Whether you’re arriving for a session or we’re pulling up to your event, this is where it all begins. We’ll get settled, make sure everyone’s comfortable, and start capturing the moments as they naturally unfold.
4.Delivering photos
Once your photos are edited and ready, they’ll be delivered through your private online gallery. Take your time reliving the moments, download your favorites, and share them with the people you love.

Where are you located & do you travel?
818 Films is based in the Antelope Valley and proudly serves clients throughout the AV, Los Angeles, and San Fernando Valley areas. We’re always open to traveling for the right session or event, so if you have a location in mind, let’s talk about it!
